Why now

Canadian Businesses Are Adopting AI Fast. Security Is the Hold-Up.

AI use by Canadian businesses has tripled in two years, and your staff are probably already using AI tools, often personal free accounts nobody has approved. The risk isn’t AI itself. It’s client data pasted into the wrong tool, files Copilot can see that it shouldn’t, and no rules for anyone to follow.

That’s an IT and security problem, which is exactly what we do.

19.2%

of Canadian businesses used AI to produce goods or deliver services (Q2 2026), triple the 6.1% of Q2 2024.

25.2%

of Canadian businesses plan to use AI in the next 12 months.

13.4%

of businesses say cybersecurity or privacy concerns limit their use of AI.

Our AI services

Five Ways We Put AI to Work for Your Business

Start with one or combine them. Every project is set up with security and privacy from day one.

Microsoft Copilot setup & training

Readiness review, permissions cleanup, licensing, rollout and hands-on staff training for Microsoft Copilot (formerly Microsoft 365 Copilot).

Private AI assistants

OpenClaw (formerly Moltbot) installed on your own computer or server, connected to the chat apps your team already uses, and locked down.

AI use policy & safe-AI training

A clear AI acceptable use policy for your staff, plus practical training on what's safe to put into AI tools and what isn't.

AI website chatbots

Custom-built chatbots trained on your own website and FAQs that answer customer questions around the clock and capture leads.

AI workflow automation

Automate the repetitive work between your email, forms, CRM and Microsoft 365 with Power Automate, n8n, Zapier or Make.

Microsoft Copilot

Is Microsoft Copilot Safe for Confidential Information?

Copilot follows your existing permissions: Microsoft says it only surfaces organizational data that each user can already view. Prompts, responses and the data it accesses aren’t used to train the underlying AI models.

That’s the catch, too. If your SharePoint or OneDrive sharing is messy, Copilot will happily find files people shouldn’t see. So every Copilot rollout we do starts with a permissions cleanup.

Worth knowing: Microsoft notes that for customers outside the EU, Copilot queries may be processed in the US, EU or other regions, so we tell you plainly where your data goes.

Privacy-first AI

How We Keep Your Data Safe With AI

Canada’s Privacy Commissioner and the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security both publish guidance on generative AI. We build it into every project.

Business accounts only

Business-grade AI accounts, never personal free logins, with training on your data turned off.

De-identified prompts

Staff trained to remove names and personal details before using AI, as the Privacy Commissioner recommends.

Canada where possible

We keep data in Canada where the AI service allows it, and tell you plainly when it doesn't.

Locked-down access

Strong authentication, least-privilege access and updates on every AI tool we deploy.

Your hardware, your data

Private assistants keep their memory and credentials on hardware you control.

Trained people

The Cyber Centre's advice to organizations includes training your employees. We do it in person.

Private AI assistants

Your Own AI Assistant, Running on Your Own Hardware

OpenClaw (formerly Moltbot) is an open-source AI assistant that runs on your own computer and works in the chat apps you already use. Its memory and credentials stay on your hardware, and it has no paid tier or subscription.

One honest note: your prompts still go to the AI model provider you choose. We set it up with a business account, configure it securely, keep it off the public internet and run its built-in security audit, so you get the benefits without the risks.

How Much Does AI for a Small Business Cost?

It depends on what you want AI to do. After a free AI consultation, you get a written proposal with each piece priced separately: one-time setup, any software or licences, and optional ongoing support.

Frequently asked questions

AI for Business FAQs

Straight answers about cost, Copilot, privacy and getting started.

It depends on the services you need. We give you a written proposal after a free AI consultation, with setup, licences and ongoing support priced separately.

Copilot only surfaces data each user already has permission to view, and Microsoft says prompts and responses aren’t used to train its foundation models. The real risk is over-shared files, which is why we clean up permissions before rollout.

Microsoft Copilot (formerly Microsoft 365 Copilot) is an add-on licence that requires an eligible plan such as Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard or Premium. Copilot Chat on the web is included with eligible subscriptions at no extra cost.

A readiness review checks your licences, SharePoint and OneDrive sharing, sensitive data, sign-in security and training needs. We’ll tell you what to fix before you buy licences.

OpenClaw (formerly Moltbot) is an open-source AI assistant that runs on your own computer and works in your chat apps. It’s safe when it’s set up properly: kept off the public internet, using business AI accounts and checked with its built-in security audit, which is what we do.

If your staff use any AI tools, yes. A short policy says which tools are approved and what data must never be entered, and training makes sure people actually follow it.

Canada’s Privacy Commissioner advises using de-identified information in prompts where possible, and only entering personal or confidential information where authorised. We set up approved business tools and train staff to do this.

Yes. We custom-build chatbots trained on your website and FAQs and add them to WordPress and other sites, with leads sent to your email or CRM.

Yes. We build automations with Power Automate, n8n, Zapier or Make to route emails, process form submissions, update your CRM and send follow-ups.

Where the AI service allows it, yes, and we tell you plainly when it doesn’t. For example, Microsoft notes Copilot queries from outside the EU may be processed in the US, EU or other regions.

Because most AI risk is security risk: permissions, accounts, data and devices. We handle the AI and the IT underneath it, so nothing falls between vendors.
