About AlphaIT
AlphaIT started in Edmonton in October 2019 with a simple idea: small businesses deserve IT that’s designed properly, documented and supported by someone who’s accountable for it. Today we look after IT, networks, security and cloud for local businesses, and their websites and search marketing too.

Our story
I’ve always been the person who wants to know how things connect. That curiosity took me through a four-year engineering degree in computer science, and then to the University of Alberta for a Master’s in Internetworking, where I went deep on how networks, routing, switching and security really work.
Since 2016 I’ve been doing that work hands-on: building networks, installing servers, securing systems and fixing the problems that stop businesses from working. Again and again I saw small businesses with IT that had been set up quickly and never documented, with nobody really responsible for it.
In October 2019 I started AlphaIT to do it differently: design things properly the first time, write everything down, and stay accountable after the job is done. Because so many of our clients also needed help with their websites and Google visibility, we added web design and SEO, built on the same technical foundation.
