SEO in the age of AI search
Google describes SEO as helping search engines understand your content, and helping users find your site. That hasn’t changed. What has changed is where people see the answer: Google’s AI Overviews, AI Mode and tools like ChatGPT now answer many questions before anyone clicks.
The good news: Google says there are no additional requirements or special optimizations to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode. The same foundational SEO best practices apply. Businesses with clear, helpful pages, a strong Google Business Profile and good reviews are the ones that get cited.

What’s included
Every SEO plan is built around your goals, but these are the areas we work on to move rankings and leads.
Google Business Profile optimization, reviews, citations and location pages to win the map pack.
Crawling, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals, redirects, schema and mobile issues, fixed directly.
Titles, headings, internal links and page content aligned with what your customers actually search.
Find the searches that bring buyers, not just traffic, and see what top competitors are doing.
Service pages, location pages and articles that answer real questions and build topical authority.
Local citations, partnerships and outreach. Never bought links, which break Google's spam policies.
Clear, well-structured content and strong local signals so AI Overviews and AI tools cite your business.
Redesigns and domain or platform moves planned with redirects so you don't lose rankings.
A full review of technical, on-page, local and content issues with a prioritized fix list.
Technical SEO
Many SEO agencies hand you a list of technical problems and leave the fixing to your web developer. We’re an IT company, so hosting, speed, security, SSL, DNS and redirects are handled by the same team that runs your SEO.

Local SEO
Google says local results are based mainly on relevance, distance and popularity, which it also describes as prominence: how well-known a business is. More reviews and positive ratings can help, and there’s no way to pay for a better local ranking.
We optimize every part of that: your profile, your reviews, your listings and the location pages on your website. Serving several cities? We build a page and a plan for each market, from Edmonton to anywhere in Canada.
What to expect
Google itself says some changes take effect in a few hours and others could take several months. That’s why our SEO plans start with a 6-month minimum: enough time to fix the foundations and see real movement.
Month 1
Technical audit, keyword research, Google Business Profile and tracking set up, urgent fixes.
Months 2–3
Service and location pages optimized, internal links, citations and review process running.
Months 4–6
New content, link building and refinements based on what the data shows.
Month 6+
Expand into new keywords, services and areas while protecting what's ranking.
Reporting
Every month you get a plain-English report that connects our work to results you care about, not a 40-page export of charts nobody reads.
Choosing an SEO company
Google publishes a list of questions to ask before you hire an SEO. We’re happy to answer every one.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about cost, timelines, AI search and what you get.
It depends on your competition, the number of locations you target and how much technical and content work your site needs. We give you a written proposal with a clear monthly scope after a free consultation.
Google says some changes take effect in a few hours and others can take several months. Most businesses see meaningful movement over several months, which is why our SEO plans have a 6-month minimum.
For most local businesses, yes. Customers search before they call, and ranking in Google Search and Maps brings leads without paying for every click. We’ll tell you honestly if ads would be a better starting point.
Local SEO focuses on Google Maps and searches with local intent, like ‘IT support Edmonton’ or ‘near me’. Regular SEO targets wider searches across Canada. Most of our clients need a mix of both.
No, and nobody honest can. Google says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking. We commit to clear work, transparent reporting and measurable improvements in visibility and leads.
Links still help Google understand your authority, but quality matters far more than quantity. We build links through local citations, partnerships and outreach, never by buying links, which breaks Google’s spam policies.
Google says there are no special requirements for AI Overviews: the same SEO foundations apply. Clear, helpful pages, a strong Google Business Profile and good reviews make your business more likely to be cited. AI search visibility is part of our SEO work.
Your existing rankings don’t disappear overnight, but competitors keep improving, so rankings can slowly slip. Unlike ads, the work you’ve paid for keeps some value after you stop.
Keyword rankings, Google Search clicks and impressions, organic traffic, calls and form leads, Google Business Profile activity, the work completed and the plan for next month.
Yes. We’re based in Edmonton and work with businesses across Canada, including multi-location businesses that need local SEO in several cities.
Technical health (crawling, indexing, speed, Core Web Vitals), on-page SEO, content gaps, local SEO and Google Business Profile, links, and a prioritized list of fixes.
Because technical problems like slow hosting, security issues, broken redirects and DNS mistakes quietly hold SEO back. Our IT team fixes them directly instead of handing you a report.
