Cheveuderm SEO, AEO & GEO Case Study: Page One of Google and 29,000 AI Answers in Under 8 Months
We designed and built Cheveuderm’s website in January–February 2026, then started SEO, AEO and GEO the day it launched. Here’s how a brand-new skin and hair clinic website went from zero search history to page one of Google, and into Google’s AI answers.
SEO ranks pages in normal search. AEO (answer engine optimization) structures content so search engines can lift it as a direct answer. GEO (generative engine optimization) makes pages easy for AI tools to understand, trust and cite.

A Skin, Hair and Aesthetics Clinic in Bangalore
Cheveuderm Medspa is a clinic in HBR Layout, Bangalore, led by Dr. Vishakha Iyer. It offers HydraFacial, chemical peels, MNRF, GFC hair treatment, dermal fillers, dermaplaning and other skin and hair treatments.
The clinic needed a website that patients could trust, and a steady flow of people finding it on Google when they searched for a treatment in Bangalore, not just people who already knew the clinic’s name.

Ranking a New Clinic Website in a Competitive Health Market
Every new website starts with zero trust from Google. A clinic website has a harder road than most.
Starting from zero
A brand-new domain with no rankings, no backlinks and no search history. In its first seven weeks the site got 0–3 clicks a day.
Health content (YMYL)
Google holds medical pages to its strictest quality bar. They need clear expertise, authorship and consistent clinic details.
Crowded local market
Searches like “hydrafacial bangalore” and “dermatologist near me” were already held by established clinics and directories.
How We Grew Cheveuderm’s Search Traffic
Website, SEO, AEO and GEO were planned together from day one. These are the six steps behind the results.
- Step 1 · Jan–Feb 2026
Build an SEO-ready website
We designed and built the site on WordPress and Elementor with fast, clean pages, mobile-first layouts and one page per treatment, so SEO started on a solid base.
- Step 2
Research what patients search for
We mapped real searches to treatments: “hydrafacial bangalore”, “mnrf treatment bangalore”, “gfc hair treatment cost”, plus the questions patients ask before booking.
- Step 3
Treatment pages for each search
Each treatment got its own page, with titles built on one pattern: treatment + Bangalore + what patients compare (cost, results, reviews).
- Step 4
Answer-first content (AEO)
Pages open with a clear, direct answer, backed by FAQs. Blog posts answer the questions people search before choosing a clinic, like “Chemical Peel for Open Pores: Does It Actually Work?”, and link into the treatment pages.
- Step 5
Structured data and AI readability (GEO)
Breadcrumb and review structured data, consistent clinic and doctor details, clean indexing and internal links, so Google and AI tools understand who the clinic is and how the treatment pages fit together.
- Step 6 · Ongoing
Measure, audit and improve
Search Console and GA4 tracking from launch, and a full SEO audit in September 2026 to plan the next round of fixes.
Traffic Took Off Two Months After Launch, and Kept Climbing
Impressions grew from under 100 a day in February to 1,500–2,000 a day by October. Clicks followed the same curve.
Clicks grew every quarter, from about 58 to 1,080

Treatment Pages and Patient-Question Content Did the Heavy Lifting

Google Search Console, top queries by clicks, 22 Feb – 10 Oct 2026.
Standout page: the blog post “Chemical Peel for Open Pores: Does It Actually Work?” is the second-biggest traffic source on the site (188 clicks). Its clicks rose 617% in the last three months. A good patient-question article can beat a service page. That’s why content marketing is part of our SEO work.
29,000 Appearances in Google’s AI Answers
Search Console started reporting Google’s AI features (AI Overviews and AI Mode) in May 2026. Since then Cheveuderm’s pages have appeared 29,000 times in AI answers, rising from about 50 to about 300 appearances a day.
This is where the AEO and GEO work shows. There are no shortcuts: Google says AI features build on the same foundations as normal search. Answer-first pages, FAQs that match real patient questions, structured data and a site that’s easy to crawl gave Google’s AI clear passages to use. Read more about our AI solutions.

131 Real Visitors From ChatGPT
Appearing in AI answers only matters if people click through. Google Analytics 4 shows that ChatGPT sent 131 visits to cheveuderm.com (counted in GA4’s own AI Assistant channel), starting in late June 2026 and arriving almost every week since.
These visitors engaged with the site at a 60% engagement rate. That’s in line with the rest of the site, a good sign these were real people researching treatments after ChatGPT pointed them to the clinic.
What Made the Difference
Four things any clinic or local business can take from this project.
Build the website and SEO together
Planning pages around searches before launch meant no rebuild later. See our web development approach.
One page per treatment, one search per page
Pages titled for “treatment + city + cost/results” match what patients type, and they rank.
Answer the questions patients ask
Question-led articles bring visitors who are still deciding, then pass them to treatment pages through internal links.
Do SEO, AEO and GEO together
One set of clear, answer-first, well-structured pages ranks in normal search and gets picked up by Google’s AI answers.
The Next Phase: Turning Impressions Into Bookings
With 237,000 impressions and an average position of 10, the site is visible. The next phase moves the key pages into the top three and turns more searches into appointments.

Questions About This Case Study
Common questions from businesses considering SEO.
How long did it take to see SEO results for Cheveuderm?
The website launched in February 2026. Impressions started climbing in late April, about two months later, and clicks doubled again in the three months to October. Most new websites need several months before SEO moves meaningfully.
Can SEO work for a brand-new website?
Yes. Cheveuderm started with no rankings or backlinks. Planning pages around real searches before launch, then adding helpful content steadily, got the site to an average position of 10 within eight months.
Do you build websites and do SEO together?
Yes. We designed and built Cheveuderm’s website and run its SEO. Planning both together avoids rebuilding pages later. See our website design and SEO services.
Do you work with clinics and healthcare businesses?
Yes. Health websites need extra care with trust signals, authorship and accurate claims. See the industries we serve.
Do you work with businesses outside Edmonton or Canada?
Yes. We’re based in Edmonton and work with clients across Canada and internationally. Cheveuderm is in Bangalore, India.
How do you measure SEO results?
With Google Search Console (clicks, impressions, rankings) and Google Analytics 4 (visitors and conversions), reported monthly in plain English.
What are AEO and GEO, and how are they different from SEO?
SEO helps your pages rank in normal search results. AEO (answer engine optimization) structures content so search engines can show it as a direct answer, with clear answers near the top and FAQs that match real questions. GEO (generative engine optimization) makes your site easy for AI tools such as Google’s AI Overviews to understand, trust and cite. For Cheveuderm we did all three together.
Can you get my business into Google's AI Overviews?
No one can guarantee it, but Google says AI features use the same SEO foundations as normal search. Cheveuderm’s pages appeared 29,000 times in Google’s AI answers through SEO, AEO and GEO built on those foundations, and ChatGPT sent 131 visits to the site.
